Why I branded the Two Colour Protocol

EDIT: Apologies: These earlier posts were long and too pally. I have cut a lot of chaff away. It’s still too long. (Though it’s a simple idea) But I hope you may read it.

In short -

Keep DATA (green stuff) and MODEL elements (pink stuff) clearly distinguished.

That’s it.

Two types of dismissive responses have been by a few for the Two Colour Protocol - each the polar opposite of the other:

It’s a ridiculous preposterous theory!

And

That’s just obvious! Why even say it? You’re saying nothing

It is obvious but it does need to be said.

I’m not offering a hypothesis - only a way of proceeding wisely, based on taking seriously a shared hypothesis pretty much everyone takes for granted if pressed

I’m claiming this is the very core of what science is and what sanity is.

The implied ‘hypothesis’ in the protocol

The Reality Hypothesis

Some stuff we witness, some knowledge we gather is given to us - reality - green stuff - and some stuff is made up - imagination - pink stuff- and there’s a fundamental difference. No overlap

For some

“ thoughts are things”

the thought of a microscopic alien space badger invasion fleet can do no harm whatsoever…

…UNLESS it is treated as real.

…And ‘measures’ are put in place to ‘safeguard’ from them and ‘treat’ the damage ‘from them’ with pointless catastrophic results,

…and people are drenched in fear so that the voodoo effect / nocebo mechanisms kick in.

Reality is awe inspiring

It is bizarre that in the whole infinite sea of pink possibilities - everything a God could dream -

there’s a set of them more special than the rest because they are not ‘possible’ at all, they are actually ‘the case’ ! True. Truth. Reality. Green stuff. God’s creation. Such that is.

Fenced in, in a complex interconnected web, observed from zillions of angles by the awake, remaining completely consistent.

We are all experiencing ‘this’ together. There is a ‘this’ - whatever it is.

Nothing wrong with pink stuff

Imagining possibilities and maps (pink stuff) is healthy and useful.

Playing at Doll’s tea party with my daughter. Wonderful. She knows it’s play.

Starting to wink and smile as she says

Is Santa a real person Daddy?

so that she knows it’s the same as Dolls and cartoons. Play. You don’t have to sign up to lies. Pretending is just fun.

Telling her outright when she questions:

Of course he’s real. Your friends are wrong.

would have many damaging consequences

to trust,

but also in undermining the central importance of The Root Question

Now, are you sure that’s true? or is it just a story?

We are called to be witness to the truth.

Pretend games are cool. Pretend truth is not.

I would say the blurring of story and reality, whether consciously or unconsciously, is the root cause of every avoidable error.

This divide is being threatened

Now is the time to be rigorously sane. Reality is under threat.

The Two Colour Protocol cuts through all the bullshit. Instrumentalism and all kinds of Pseudoscience become impossible.

What is it?

Just the clear distinguishing of the real and the made-up.

The New (Age) Vogue

From Blavatsky and Bailey came Lucifer publishing. They changed their name to the Lucis Trust and are key partners with the United Nations. Bailey is the mid-wife of The New Age.

This much vaunted one world religion blurs the distinction between reality and imagination.

Flagrantly ignoring and undermining the Root Question often almost trolling it.

Some blur the very distinction itself.

Postmodern days. Truth is what we are told it is or whatever we choose is true for ourselves..

The only true duality

I see pink / green as the only genuine observable duality in the universe. I think you do too if pressed.

All other ‘Duality’ ideas are pure pink stuff. The two poles are conceptual only, in every case, and never observable Green stuff.

Except,

the duality between Pink Stuff and Green Stuff.

That appears to be observable - so far in my experience, including reports from others.

My experience is that reality and fantasy are not the same - and that it really helps things turn out much better if we take seriously the notion of questioning every single story we are given or we give yourselves.

We must particularly take care when things are ‼️ as good as true ‼️

Either it’s true or it’s just a story. Do I know it? As green stuff?

If it’s a story that claims to represent reality, we get a feel for how likely it captures reality well. Maybe the probability seems quite high.

Great, stick it in the bag with all the other stories

Intuition says story 5447alpha is true.

Great! give it a high probability and use it as a guide to action.

But it still stays pink side. Because it is not DATA - it’s MODEL.

We’d be a fool to throw it into the scenery and treat is like DATA: and imagine a layer over our experiencing that we include in what is being experienced.

Delusion.

Being properly aware means catching as many of those (certain) beliefs as possible, as early on as we can

images that somehow became graven images, part of the augmented reality our head above our head goggles offer us.

We spot these - now brown - things, shove them back from the Green into the Pink (or vice-versa) where they belong.

How could messing up the epistemologisphere with more jargon help bring focus back to reality?

There is real stuff out there. How? Why? Who? Who cares. Reality is “a thing”. Face it. Your mental representation of it is not it and in some cases is totally incompatible with it, falsified by it. Sometimes this causes catastrophes that could have been avoided. You need to be clear what is: direct experience of the reality (that you deny at your peril!) and what are parts of stories in your head, that you treat as real stuff sometimes with dire consequences.

Live fully in the real world. Live fully in the farthest reaches of your imagination. Know the difference

Be wary and aware of the head above your head.

The Root Question - central at age three - then increasingly sidelined by all of us

Now… …are you sure that’s true? Or is it just a story?

The method of Columbo

Imagine every possibility which is compatible with the evidence. Look for evidence that eliminates as many possibilities as possible. If necessary trick the perpetrator into supplying clear court-presentable evidence preferably hoisting him by his own petard, using his own method back on him, for dramatic effect.

In every case we are just making a clear distinction between two very different types of stuff.

The importance of maintaining this distinction is drummed in as the essential core in each case.

We must ask… Is it real, true? Or is it made-up.

The warning in each case is that:

The Deep Warning

Failing to keep your images as images, engraving them onto reality - as if they were part of it - will often lead to avoidable suffering.

So why brand it?

I would guess that most of the above presentations of the Two Colour Protocol will be seen as obviously true platitudes by most people.

And I think here is the problem:

If everyone, at all times never pretended to themselves or others to know what they don’t we’d be laughing. Even if people didn’t pretend to themselves alone - that would do it. There’d be much less pretending to others.

But how on earth would we get there?

If a man walks into a psychoanalyst’s office and described a complex problem and the psychoanalyst said,

“I can help you. The solution to your problem is easy. Never pretend to know what you don’t. Bye.”

It is unlikely our sufferer will make use of this even if it literally went to the heart of the problem. Stories mixed up with facts. Self Blame and guilt: stories laid on top of actual memories of abuse. Self loathing: being locked in the head above your head.

Taking it on board

Maybe if he’d travelled 1000 miles to get 30 seconds with a guru he trusted and heard the exact same thing, it may lead to more of a transformation.

All the above principles and codes sound so obvious but

who takes seriously on board the act of applying this clarity every waking second as if it were the natural way to be?

Every Second Zen.

What if it is the natural way to be? And most of us (including me) are unnaturally deluded in many ways.

Because right now in every single sphere of life, especially in The Citadel Of $cience™️, stories and bullshit are mixed freely in with real stuff in all narratives without any distinctions.

Many of the cases are harmless. Many are fatal. But the very habit itself allows for being dragged into any old nonsense by the media and their controllers.

Now, like no time in history, we need to have continually-active state-of-the-art bullshit detectors set at maximum focus.

Scepticism soaked in vinegar and baked in the oven like our invincible conkers from the time before Health and Safety took away that particular avenue of pleasure.

Branding to achieve clarity

I branded it for the same reason I branded The Silver Bullet video.

Using “techniques” to maximise the number of people who get to hear this blistering vital delivery.

The Two Colour Protocol is intended to be a clear simple practical focused application of scepticism.

All knowledge and its constituent contents are pink or green. That’s it.

It’s a hard uncompromising blade that asks the nature of each bit of our pieces of knowledge. Which parts are reality? Green? Which are phantoms from the head above the head - however useful they are as features on a map.

Restoring Scientific Realism

If used in science methodically,

with every concept and ‘thing’ in each essay, paper, being clearly classified as pink or green,

With DATA and MODEL kept clearly distinguished,

It becomes impossible to fall into

In 1927, at the Solvay Conference, Einstein and the Scientific Realists (Yay!) lost the debate to the Instrumentalists (Boo!) led by Bohr (Boo!)

Instrumentalism, the reality trashing treating of pink stuff as green stuff destroyed science.

The fairy stories grew and grew - so now: practically all the universe is, apparently, invisible stuff that can’t be seen or detected

and microscopic computer built genomes, that against all laws of probability magically exist without detection,

spread disease despite 220 years of transmission experiments showing clearly that nothing does.

Transmission failure

Most of the world now believes in viruses - whose fictional nature is simply hard fact - as is unequivocally demonstrated by the ever rising, ever unclaimed Virus Confirmation Fund.

Instrumentalism sucks

The scientific method IS the careful separation of DATA from MODEL you silly billies.

Avoiding the reification fallacy should be basic.

You can’t just make stuff up - so that your hypothesis works! And then say it’s out there with absolutely no evidence.

Worth saying again, I maintain that a large proportion of avoidable error in science and life comes from the confusion of Green stuff with Pink Stuff.

If a strict adherence to the Two Colour Protocol were considered foundational to all science as basic

as it should be

then pseudoscience would be impossible -

- outside outright fraudulent genuinely isolated (excuse the pun) cases.

Coddiwompling

To strive purposefully forward in an, as yet unknown direction.

Columbo expects nothing. He may think things likely. But he keeps every, as yet unfalsified possibility, open.

He flies by the seat of his pants. Most of his clues come out of the blue from genuine friendly conversations on everyday subjects.

Same with playing a solo over a rock samba. We have no idea where we are going next at any point. We’re watching it happen more than executing it.

Religious language can be useful.

Your creation is wonderful. But never confuse it with God’s creation

In other words, separate the Pink from the Green.

Not because not to do so is naughty! That you are treating your creations as equal to that of an almighty jealous creator who wants you to be a good little boy or girl and cow tow.

It just leads to trouble if you ignore reality.

You are convinced that barman did that deliberately to spite you. You act on that basis.

But that was your pink overlay. He hadn’t even noticed you and now, you are barred.

Things are now hotting up. The 100 years + of predictive programming is entrenched.

“What do you mean there are no aliens invading? Are you a conspiracy theorist?”

We are at the stage where the apparently long planned alien invasion hoax would be lapped up by a terrorised population.

Orson Welles’ “War Of The Worlds” panic showed how little it takes. (Itself a social experiment)

Nick Hudson s maxim is well worth remembering in this case too.

The general rule of thumb that I believe everybody should adopt is that if any problem is being presented as a global crisis with only global solutions then it is a scam.

Branding the two types of stuff

(Two because BROWN STUFF - delusion, is not a third type of stuff - it’s just pink or green stuff in the wrong box.)

I think calling:

Data, observations, experienced reality, truth, witness:, what you know, knowledge of what is the case…

GREEN STUFF

for the actual Terrain that is out there, somehow.

With Hypotheses, maps, representations, theories, possible explanations, predictions, guesses, models, abstractions, imagined things, theoretical things, surmised things, pure stories, alleged stories representing reality that are not data, lies,

all PINK STUFF

Pink for the brain that holds (maybe) this augmented reality overlay of concepts, divisions, value judgements, interpretations, beliefs, projections and all the above types of stories.

Then it’s easy.
